There are usually two or three undergraduates reading History and Politics at Regent’s, though the yearly intake varies.
Their course of study is supervised by two Directors of Studies, Dr Leif Dixon for History and Dr Tom Lubbock for Politics. Papers are taught by a wide variety of tutors throughout the University, as the study of History and Politics at Oxford offers considerable scope for individual choice in terms of the periods and subjects selected.
Please note that all candidates must take the History Aptitude Test (HAT) in their own school or college or an approved test centre early in the November of the year they apply. For further information, visit the HAT page on the History Faculty website.
