Jubilee Sermon by the Dean of St Paul’s

16 Feb Jubilee Sermon by the Dean of St Paul’s

On Friday 17 February (5th Week), we will welcome The Very Revd Dr David Ison, Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral, as a contributor to our Jubilee Sermon Series, ‘Faith in a Fractured World’.  The theme of Dean Ison’s sermon will be, ‘Does the Church Belong in a Fractured World?’, and he is well-placed to reflect on the challenges facing the church in the 21st century as head of the community of St Paul’s in the heart of London.  Dean Ison arrived at St Paul’s at a turbulent time in May 2012; his tenure began in the final months of the Occupy London protest which had been encamped in front of the Cathedral since the previous October.  Dean Ison will preach in the context of a service of Christian worship, from 5:45-6:30pm in our chapel.  All welcome.
