Post-doctoral Non-stipendiary Research Associateship/s of the Oxford Centre for Christianity and Culture

The Oxford Centre for Christianity and Culture at Regent’s Park College intends to appoint one or more post-doctoral non-stipendiary Research Associates for a period of three years from Michaelmas Term 2017. The Research Associate/s would be expected to be engaged in research in Theology or in any other Humanities or Social Science discipline which relates to the aims of the Centre in exploring the relationship between faith and culture in contemporary society. The Research Associate/s will have membership of the Senior Common Room at Regent’s Park College with library access and some dining rights. The Centre would welcome applications from candidates with research proposals in the following strands of the Centre’s activities:

  • Spirituality, Literature and the Arts 
  • Inclusion and Diversity 
  • Religion, Law and Freedom of Conscience


Research Associates are expected to play an active role in the development of the Centre’s programmes and corporate research. These roles are intended either for candidates about to complete doctoral research (within 12 months of completion) or those who have recently qualified (normally within three years of graduation).
