The Main Library has an excellent and extensive Theology collection, and provides most of the books on other course reading lists. Among the Arts subjects catered for in the Library, English and Philosophy are well represented and the collections covering other subjects are constantly expanding to meet students’ needs and requests. Students may request books for purchase by the library with the approval of their subject tutor.
Entry to the Library is available 24 hours a day for students and faculty of Regent’s Park College. The Library includes an MCR study room as well as a variety of carrels and large tables for individual study. There are four computers for student use (with printers), which may be used not only for typing up essays, but for email and searching the internet. There is wireless internet access for personal laptops and tablets. The Library also has two dedicated on-line catalogue (SOLO) access points. The University’s Bodleian Library provides a vast range of electronic texts, journals and databases in every subject area, which may also be consulted from these computers. Additional Library resources are available to Regent’s Park students and faculty via our website and Weblearn.
If we have a book not held in the Bodleian that you would like to consult, and you are not a member of Regent’s Park College, please contact us by email to make an appointment to use the book on site. Books may only be borrowed by members of the college.
