Regent’s is ideally situated within the city for Classics tuition.

The College admits up to two students each year to read Classics. The course of study is organised by Dr Peta Fowler, who is a specialist in Latin literature, and Dr Alison Rosenblitt, who is a specialist in Roman history and historiography.

Subjects outside these areas are generally taught by tutors in other colleges. Regent’s Park College makes an ideal base for reading this degree, as it is located between the Classics Faculty, the Ashmolean Museum, and the Sackler Library. You will find details more details of the degree programme on the Classics Faculty website.

6 students admitted each year: normally, 2 Classics and English, 2 Classics, 1 Classical Archaeology and Ancient History, and 1 Ancient and Modern History.
