A once-in-forever opportunity
Regent’s has always done things differently. We combine academic excellence with the warmth of a small community where students are known as individuals and people find a place to belong.
Now we have the opportunity to take the most significant step in our modern history: to become Oxford’s fortieth college.
Collegiate status would give Regent’s permanence through incorporation by Royal Charter. It would mean greater equality and opportunity for our students, greater parity of resources, recognition and support for our academics, and a stronger foundation from which Regent’s can flourish for generations.
Write your name into Regent’s history
Everyone who gives during the campaign will be commemorated in a special edition of Regent’s Now and will receive a campaign pin badge. Those who contribute to the Regent’s Forever Campaign above above the following thresholds will have the opportunity to be honoured on a donor board in the college – a lasting tribute to their role in this historic endeavour:
- £60: for students who are in residence in 2026, 2027, and 2028.
- £360 or £10 a month for 36 months (plus Gift Aid where applicable): for alumni under 25 years old, current church ministers, and members of Regent’s staff.
- £1,440 or £40 a month for 36 months (plus Gift Aid where applicable): for all other alumni.
There will only be one opportunity to found Regent’s as a college.

Regent’s has only around a third of the alumni of other Oxford colleges. That means every donor really counts.
