Regent’s Park College is a special community within the University of Oxford, with a total student body of just over 200. Our size creates a more intimate feel than in many larger colleges, and a close sense of community. Regent’s is known for its friendly atmosphere and students across year groups and subjects get to know each other quickly and make friends for life.

Regent’s undergraduate students (the Junior Common Room  or ‘JCR’) demonstrate academic excellence and potential, and also show a desire to be part of our college community and life – this is exactly what we are looking for in all applicants.

College accommodation is typically offered for students in their first and final years, with second years often ‘living out’ in private accommodation with friends – many students find this a rewarding and enjoyable experience!

Regent’s students achieve great things at the university level – considering our small size, we have a strong presence in the University – with students taking leading roles in the Oxford Union, University sports teams, the Oxford University Drama Society (OUDS), and some students gaining the prestigious Oxford Blue for sport.

Academically, Regent’s is comparable to any Oxford college. Tutoring is mainly delivered at Regent’s, but it is likely that some of your course will be taught at other colleges – something which further enriches your academic experience. The central University is responsible for students’ lectures, exams, and the Bodleian Libraries. As Oxford students you will be able to make full use of all of these facilities. Oxford is an amazing university with so much to offer, and Regent’s is an ideal place from which to take full advantage of them all.
