Application Timeline 2025-2026

Below is a list of the key dates and deadlines for applicants in the 2025 admissions cycle, applying for 2026 undergraduate entry.

13 May 2025: UCAS opens for undergraduate applications for 2026 entry

Booking information for Pearson Vue Admission Tests (all Oxford admissions tests). This is a two step process. Note: please check the University website to find out if your course requires an admissions test. This year English, Geography and History do NOT require the ELAT, GAT or HAT.

18th June – 19th September: Step 1. Oxford Admissions Test Registration Portal is open.

18th August – 26th September (6pm): Step 2. Select a test Centre and book the admissions test

1 August 2025: Registration opens for the National Admissions Tests for Law (LNAT)

1 September 2025: First day LNAT tests may be sat.

2 September 2025: Completed undergraduate applications can be submitted to UCAS from this point on

15 September 2025: Last day for LNAT registration.

Last day to register for Pearson Vue Admissions Tests (all Oxford admissions tests), will be available shortly.

15 October 2025: Last day LNAT may be taken.

15 October 2025, 6pm: Deadline for all applicants to Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

24 October 2025: Philosophy Test (PhilAT) takes place

21, 22, 23, 24, 27 October 2025: Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) takes place

10 November 2025: Deadline for submitting samples of written work. Note: please check the University website to find out if your course requires written work submission.

From mid-November 2025: Invitations to interview sent to successful applicants

December 2025: Interviews take place on MS Teams

13 January 2026: Decisions sent out via email and successful applicants receive offers
