Elizabeth Crawford, Regent’s interim Principal

Elizabeth Crawford, Fellow of University College, Oxford will act as interim Principal once Revd Dr Rob Ellis retires at the end of September 2021, and will serve for Michaelmas Term 2021.

Elizabeth has spent the majority her professional career as a Fellow of University College, Oxford where she was the Domestic Bursar. Her role touched on all aspects of College life including project management of large building projects, overseeing statutory compliance and representing the College on various University committees and ad hoc working parties. As Chair of the Domestic Bursars’ Committee, Elizabeth also represented the Oxford Colleges on various national organisations and is fully committed to Oxford’s collegiate system, in all its complexities and rich variations.

After formally retiring in 2015, Elizabeth has undertaken various short-term roles, the first of which was at Regent’s Park College. She now lives on the edge of the Brecon Beacons and has become fully engaged with life in her local community but is delighted to come back to Regent’s Park to support the College as an interim appointment, prior to the arrival of the new Principal.
