Introducing our new Lillian Goldman Junior Research Fellows

We are delighted to welcome two new Lillian Goldman Junior Research Fellows to Regent’s Park College.

 

Dr Lorena Becerra-Valdivia

Dr Lorena Becerra-Valdivia joins us from the Oxford Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit having recently completed her PhD in Archaeological Science. She also holds a MSc in Archaeological Science from Oxford and a BA in Anthropology from UCLA. Dr Becerra-Valdivia’s research uses radiocarbon dating and statistical modelling methods to create archaeological and palaeoenvironmental timelines of pre-Columbian Amazonia.

Dr Lulu Shi

Dr Lulu Shi joins us from Oxford University’s Sociology Department. Dr Shi holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Basel, Visiting PhDs from both the University of Cambridge and Oxford, a MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA from University of Zurich. Her research focuses on the intersection of education, work, technology and social transformations.
