I am a tutor in law at Regent’s Park College, principally teaching Jurisprudence, but also teaching Land Law. I am completing a DPhil in Law at Regents looking at the question: ‘When and Why do our Emotions Excuse Us?’When does the fact that our action has an emotional motive ‘get us off the hook’? Why would justified fear excuse, but unjustified hatred would not?’

I have also been teaching Jurisprudence and Criminal law across a number of other Oxford colleges (Worcester, Brasenose, St Hilda’s and Wadham) as a stipendiary and non-stipendiary lecturer.

Before starting the DPhil, I was a graduate student at Hertford College, Oxford (for the BCL), and at LSE (for the MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy). I read law as an undergraduate at Christ’s College, Cambridge.
