My main areas of interest are religious conversion, freedom of religion, world Christianity (with a particular focus on Somalia), Muslim-Christian relations, and the intersection of science and religion.

I received my PhD from the University of St Andrews in Divinity after serving for seven years as a journalist with the largest public radio broadcasting organisation in Hungary. My academic background includes MA degrees in both Theology and Communication and Media Studies. Before joining Regent’s Park College, I was a postdoctoral research assistant at Liverpool Hope University.

My role in College

I joined Regent’s Park College in December 2023 to undertake a study on the state of freedom of religion or belief in the United Kingdom. This project is conducted in partnership with Baroness Berridge of the Vale of Catmose, a member of the House of Lords and trustee of the Freedom Declared Foundation.
