As well as being a college tutor, here at Regent’s and at three other colleges, I am also the Academic Administrator in the School of Geography and the Environment. In my departmental post, I have a central role in curriculum development and outreach and admissions, as well in the day to day coordination of all taught courses. I teach a 3rd year option in the department on European Integration.
I hold two degrees in Geography (BA, 1985 and DPhil, 1990) from St Edmund Hall, Oxford. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and hiking and am an enthusiastic skier, although my enthusiasm is not matched by my ability!
My role in College
I coordinate provision for Geography students in the College, as well as teaching a range of topics myself: Human Geography; Geographical Controversies; Space, Place and Society; Environmental Geography; Geographical Thought; and, European Integration.
