Timothy Whelan has published widely on British Religious Dissent of the Long 18th C. (especially among Baptists) and its intersections with women writers, print culture, and various Romantic figures, with many of these articles appearing in the Baptist Quarterly and various literary journals. He is the general editor of Nonconformist Women Writers, 1720-1840 (8 vols., 2011); author of Other British Voices: Women, Poetry, and Religion, 1766-1840 (2015); editor, with Michael McMullen, of The Diary of Andrew Fuller (2016); and creator of the website Nonconformist and Dissenting Women’s Studies.
