As the start of the new term and academic year approaches, we look forward to welcoming many new students this weekend. New undergraduates arrive on Sunday and there will be welcome events for them with their guests at 12.30pm or 3.30pm, according to their schedules, before the orientation week programme begins with its mix of academic, welfare, and social events. Many new graduate students are already in Oxford, and we anticipate that other undergraduates and postgraduates will be back at some point next week. This term is going to be challenging in new ways for us all as the new College year begins amid the pandemic. There will be briefings about the impact of public health situation for all students over the next week or so to supplement the various electronic communications that have been sent.
