As the Welfare Lead in College, I am responsible for helping to provide support and advice to students in relation to their welfare and wellbeing. I have a professional background working in areas of mental health and safeguarding. I am a qualified Social Worker and Systemic Practitioner, having worked in the NHS and statutory services with children, young people and their families for the last 10 years.
I am available for students on a one-to-one basis to provide advice and signposting to relevant support within the College, the wider University, and other relevant local services. I am available in College during term-time on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, working closely with the rest of the Welfare Team and the Academic Office. There are a variety of different resources and support available to students during their studies, so please do not hesitate to reach out, as it can be helpful to talk things over with someone in College.
In my spare time, I love to care for my rescue cat and dog. I hugely enjoy aerial sports and crossfit to stay healthy, and I am also a linoprint maker! I completed my first degree in English Literature at the University of Cambridge and continue to read avidly around my other hobbies. I have strong professional interests in the areas of trauma and neurodiversity.
