I have an interest in women in Christian ministry and care deeply about encouraging, equipping and empowering people to be their best selves. I am interested in all forms of accompaniment for people in leadership.

I am a Baptist Minister and serve the Baptist Union of Great Britain in encouraging women in leadership and ministry.

For more than 20 years I have worked in many of the helping professions including pastoral care, consultancy, mentoring, coaching and spiritual direction. I am a trained Spiritual Director in the Ignatian tradition and a trained professional coach with the Graduate Business School, University of South Africa.

I have degrees in theology from Manchester University and York St John’s. I am currently studying for a professional doctorate with the Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.

My role in college

I am the Tutor for Community Learning which means I engage with the wider Baptist world in overseeing our contribution to lay leadership development. I work alongside colleagues in the offering of Continuing Ministerial Development for Baptist ministers.

I co-lead with Helen Cameron, Project Violet, a three-year participatory research project into the place of women in Baptist ministry.
