First year students are allocated a study bedroom on site. A room ballot takes place each year in January and following that third year students generally choose rooms in shared flats. Second years live out in private rented accommodation, which is normally finalised by early in Hilary term. Apart from rooms and flats on site, the college has further accommodation on Banbury Road (OX2 6JU). All students may, for a small nightly fee, make use of college accommodation before and after the end of term if they have work or other pursuits that require them to be in Oxford outside term time.
All study bedrooms and flats have both ethernet and wireless internet access (at no extra cost). However, there are some bedrooms where particular computers are not able to pick up a wireless signal. Almost all other areas of the College have wireless access. The college has an IT Manager who will help new students set their PCs/laptops up for use when they arrive, issue IP addresses, etc. The College has its own Policy for IT, which is based closely on the University’s regulations.
