The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Andrew Hamilton,and his wife, Jennie, will be hosting receptions for Oxford Alumni & Friends throughout North America in 2015.

  • 11.30am – Registration
  • 11.45am – Welcoming Remarks and Lunch featuring a presentation by the Vice-Chancellor
  • 1.30pm – Break
  • 1.45pm – The Best of Times, the Worst of Times – the Future of Cancer Treatment featuring Professor Gillies McKenna (Wolfson College), Head of the Department of Oncology at the University of Oxford
  • 3.00pm – Coffee Break
  • 3.30pm – The Underground Railroad and the Struggle Against Slavery, delivered by Professor Richard Blackett (Rothermere American Institute and The Queen’s College), Harmsworth Professor of American History, 2013-14
  • 5.00pm – Drinks Reception
